Hosted by DIR and TASSCC

As the social media phenomena continues to explode, some organizations have realized immediate success utilizing tools like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, podcasting, blogs, and more.  These channels can offer relatively inexpensive outlets for expanding outreach efforts, organizational awareness, and even search engine optimization (SEO).

Others have adopted a "wait and see" position until they can establish the necessary policies, management buy-in, resource planning, and technical support.  Organizations not utilizing social media face growing pressures as their constituents, both consumers and employees, often expect and demand communication along these channels.

Join us at this half-day briefing to explore issues surrounding social media. Topics will include policies, accessibility, technology, measuring results, as well as the viewpoints from different sectors.
